Meetings: six meetings a year (every other month)
Day & time: fourth Tuesday at 7:00 P.M.
Purpose: The Church Council is the highest decision-making body of the church. It is made up of all the committee chairpersons and some members-at-large. The Church Council becomes “the Charge Conference” when the District Superintendent presides to conduct business that only a “Charge Conference” can do (elect officers, set the pastor’s compensation, set the advance special giving, review the membership, accept special gifts to the church).
